Kitchens International, the award-winning Scottish specialist in luxury kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces, has announced an exciting new phase of growth following its transition to independent family ownership under new Owner and CEO, Graham Johnston.

Founded in 1994, KI has established an unrivalled reputation for delivering exceptional kitchen, bathroom and living space solutions, combining world-class brands, innovative design and outstanding customer service. KI works with British furniture brands including Callerton and Royal Warrant holder Stoneham, leading German manufacturers Poggenpohl and Leicht, alongside premium appliance brands Gaggenau, Siemens, and Sub Zero & Wolf.

Now fully independently owned following its management buyout from the James Donaldson Group, KI is focused on long-term growth and innovation, underpinned by a commitment to exceptional quality, design and craftsmanship.
KI is investing in three new showrooms across Scotland this year, including a new appointment-only design studio at Orwell Farm, Loch Leven, and new showrooms in the prime locations of Edinburgh's Morningside and Glasgow's West End. The expansion will bring total employee numbers to 40, strengthening KI's team, as well as its presence, across Scotland, and reinforcing its position as one of the country's leading luxury kitchen, bathroom and living spaces specialists.
To support the growth plans, KI has established a new Advisory Board comprising;

Bringing together expertise spanning entrepreneurship, hospitality, luxury brands, marketing, recruitment, technology and business transformation, the board will provide strategic guidance as the business accelerates its growth plans while remaining at the forefront of design excellence, innovation and exceptional customer experience.
Commenting on the announcement, Graham Johnston, Owner and CEO of Kitchens International, said:
“Relationships, innovative design and lasting quality have always defined KI. Our structure and talented team provide a strong platform to grow sustainably, and as an independently owned business, we can operate with greater focus and agility - investing in our people, our partners and the spaces we create for our clients.
The introduction of our Advisory Board represents an exciting and important step forward for the business. Their unique perspective and wealth of experience will strengthen our ability to innovate, challenge convention and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers - while supporting our ambition to grow our presence across Scotland in a sustainable and considered way.”
