Artisan - Canonmills Garden, Edinburgh
The brief
Nestled within Edinburgh’s lively Canonmills area, and just a short distance from Stockbridge, Broughton and the Royal Botanic Gardens – this contemporary yet charming location comprises 135 one, two, three and four bedroom homes. KI were tasked with creating three modern designs to create refined living spaces within the different house types.
Solution
Each of the open plan living spaces feature Leicht Contino handless furniture with Ceres doors and aluminium handless rails. Matching Leicht 30mm worktops provides a clean, linear look. Contrasting wood effect backpanels were incorporated into the design to provide warmth and texture. The positioning of open/feature shelving is perfect for storing tools for food preparation as well as herbs and spices.
